The running thread is misplaced optimism: the useful belief that an odd project, a household object, or a half-formed thought might turn into something worth keeping if you give it a little attention.

How it is made
Every entry starts as a Markdown file, lives in git, and is published as a static page. That keeps the writing portable, the site fast, and the machinery pleasantly small.
